This blog is all about how things look to a man, who's not a boomer, but not quite a millennial, let's just say he lies somewhere on the tail of the X.

Best to be Prepared
This birthday (40), my neighbor, knowing my pessimist nature, gave me survival stuff (id est, water filters, emergency blanket, et cetera). That was quite cool, because the more complex society gets, the more tenuous freedom becomes. As a Libertarian-leaning conservative Republican, Liberty is my main aegis.

I hate how complex things have become. To make our lives more simple, we’ve had to implement all these complex “fixes” that always require updating and take an inordinate amount of time to configure. Have our lives really become more simple? We’ve got endless options and more free time (supposedly), but we’re compelled to do more, get more done, achieve more than ever before.
